The Canadian Council For The Arts – a national organisation which supports Canadian artist and those in the creative field gain funding for their working careers. The Council provides Funding, Endowments, Grants, Prizes, Research, Communications, Arts Promotion Activities.
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) – a national United States agency offering support and funding for projects exhibiting artistic excellence. The NEA provides Funding, Grants, Endowments and Prizes.

Fulbright Program – Provides international grants for US artists who wish to produce artistic related project abroad.
Asian Cultural Council – the ACC gives grants to Asian individuals to work or train in America, and to Americans wishing to work or train in Asia.
Puffin Foundation – Puffin Foundation grants are available to emerging artists in the fields of art, photography, music, theatre, dance and literature.
The John Gutmann Photography Fellowship – offers annual awards of between $5,000 to $10,000 to “an emerging artist who exhibits professional accomplishment, serious artistic commitment, and need in the field of creative photography.”
Aaron Siskind Individual Photographers Fellowship Grants – provides Fellowship grants up to $7,000 for individual emerging artists in the field of still photography and photography-based media.
Foundation for Contemporary Arts – offers annual grants for promising new artists working in the visual arts, music, dance, theatre and poetry.

Guggenheim Fellowships – provides Fellowships for advanced professionals in all fields to assist research and artistic creation. Average grant is $36,000.
