The special 6th edition of Art Dubai which will take place March 20-24, 2012, at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.
2012 is an exciting year for us, as the fair will feature over 75 galleries, a new programme of artists’ and curators’ residencies, new projects, workshops, and the critically-acclaimed Global Art Forum. In parallel to Art Dubai, we will be launching Design Days Dubai, the first international design fair for collectible, limited edition furniture and design in the Middle East. We are also developing our partnership with the Qatar Museums Authority, who will host the first two days of the Global Art Forum, in addition to coordinating the opening of major exhibitions such as a solo exhibition by Louise Bourgeois in time for Art Dubai.
The Opening Night takes place on Wednesday March 21, starting 4:00pm giving you the opportunity to view the fair before public visitors. You will also be able to enjoy access to performative artists tours, the 2012 Abraaj Capital Art Prize works and specially commissioned artists projects.
